Mrs. Liudmila LavrovaFrom early childhood, Liudmila’s life has been inseparably connected with animals, especially dogs. She was always drawn either to miniature breeds or to very large ones. This interest was largely influenced by her proximity to two families: one bred Maltese, while the other kept Great Danes. Liudmila enthusiastically helped care for the dogs and, from one of the litters, received her first puppy as a gift. That was the beginning of her journey in cynology.
In adulthood, Liudmila fulfilled her childhood dream by becoming the owner of a harlequin Great Dane named Juna. Together with her and a Miniature Poodle named Jonik, she participated in dog shows in Chișinău, Odesa, and Kyiv. Showing, training, and working with dogs became an important part of her life.
In 1986, she was invited to work as an instructor-kinologist at the dog breeding club under DOSAAF. Her responsibilities included organizing dog shows, judging, training, and participating in demonstration performances. From 1990 to 1992, she worked as a dog trainer at the service dog kennel of the Tiraspol City Department of Internal Affairs.
Later, the city dog breeding club was transformed into a Republican one, and subsequently into the Cynological Union of Transnistria, becoming part of the Kennel Union of Moldova (FCI). Since 1999, she has been the Vice President of the Public Cynological Center of Transnistria and the Cynological Union of Transnistria. She is the owner of the registered kennel “BI-LAV PLUS.”
Over the years, she has owned dogs of various breeds, including Chinese Crested Dog, Russian Toy, Labrador Retriever, Rottweiler, Dogue de Bordeaux, Dogo Argentino, German Shepherd, and American Hairless Terrier.
